Sief Khafagi Scholarship

The Sief Khafagi Scholarship is dedicated to fostering the pursuit of higher education among students who exhibit exceptional academic achievements. This program offers a $2,500 scholarship aimed at supporting students in state-sponsored colleges or universities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Sief Khafagi Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Application Deadline: December 12, 2023

Award Disbursement: Spring Semester 2024

Application Requirements:

• All Majors: Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• All U.S.-Accredited Institutions: The scholarship is open to students accepted into or attending any U.S.-accredited college or university.
• High School Seniors and Current Students: Applicants must either be high school seniors who have been accepted into a U.S.-accredited college or university or current full-time students at an accredited institution.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5: Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to be considered.
• Essay: In a 500-word essay, please detail how receiving the Sief Khafagi Scholarship would personally benefit you and how you plan to leverage your education to create a lasting, positive impact within your community.

Winner Selection

The scholarship will be awarded to at least one outstanding student following this selection process:

• Candidate Selection: In January 2024, a candidate with the most exceptional submission will be chosen.
• Notification: The selected winner will be notified via email and will have a two-week window to accept the award. Should the recipient fail to accept within this timeframe, they will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be selected.
• Additional Information: Upon acceptance, the scholarship committee may request supplementary information to verify the details provided in the application.
